Sewer Authority

The Connoquenessing Township Sewer Authority Board was created on October 2, 2019 by the Board of Supervisors, under the provisions of the Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, and in accordance with requirements from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for the Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan Update. The terms of office for the first members of the Board commenced on January 6, 2020.

Meetings

The Sewer Authority Board will hold quarterly meetings for the year of 2025. The quarterly meetings will be at 6:00 PM, and will be conducted at the Township Municipal Building, located at 102 Township Dr., Renfrew, PA 16053. In accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act, 65 Pa.C.S. §§ 709 (c.1), agendas are published at least 24 hours before the meeting, and are posted online and at the Township Building. Additionally, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act, 65 Pa.C.S. §§ 706, minutes shall be kept of all open meetings of agencies. The meeting minutes record the actions taken by the Board, as required by statute, and are not to be a verbatim transcript of everything that is said. Once minutes are approved by the Sewer Authority Board at the regular quarterly public meeting, they will be available online.

All meetings are open to the public. Residents and tax payers are welcome to comment on agenda and non-agenda items. If you would like to make a comment on an agenda item or a non-agenda item, please indicate this in the Public Meeting Sign-In Sheet prior to the start of the meeting. All public comment is limited to 3 minutes.
