Act 537 Plan Sewage Survey FAQ

Q: What does the sewage survey letter state? A: You can view a copy of the letter that has been included in the sewage survey mailer in the documents section located under the Board of Supervisors tab.

Q: Who will receive a sewage survey mailer? A: Only township residents with an on-lot system, in the designated DEP area.

Q: Where is the designated DEP area? A: The designated DEP area is a portion of the Township located primarily along the Route 68 corridor and adjacent areas, which include: 1) to the south of Route 68 near Connoquenessing Borough, including the Connoquenessing Elementary School and extending north along Route 68 to the intersection of Whitestown Rd. and along Eagle Mill Rd. to Rolling Valley Ln.; 2) to the east encompassing Kriess Rd. and the Winterwood Dr. area; 3)to the west extending to the intersection of Dick Rd. and Boyscout Rd.

Q: When will the sewage survey mailer be sent to residents? A: The sewage surveys were mailed out on August 28 & 29, 2024.

Q: Will the Sewage Enforcement Officer conduct a dye test? A: No, a dye test will not be conducted.

Q: Will the Sewage Enforcement Officer conduct a soil test? A: No, a soil test will not be conducted.

Q: Will the Sewage Enforcement Officer need to enter my home? A: No, the Sewage Enforcement Officer will not enter anyone’s home.
